The right lens data for your photographs. Give images taken with unchipped lenses accurate EXIF information, using your own lens profiles.
Two ways to tag
Fits the way you work
Keep your favourite apps, or do everything from the integrated image browser.
01
Share from the apps you already use
Keep browsing and organising your photographs in your usual apps. Select photographs—or a folder in an app that supports folder sharing—and choose AltglasTagr from Android’s Share menu.
AltglasTagr receives the selected files or folder, lets you choose a lens profile you have already added to its lens database, and writes that lens’s information into the images’ EXIF data. Review the target folder and backup options before starting.
Your existing workflow stays familiar. AltglasTagr simply steps in as the tagging tool when you need accurate lens data.

Browse and tag inside AltglasTagr
Prefer to work in one place? Open Start Tagging and use the integrated EXIF Tagger to browse your folders, preview photographs and inspect their current EXIF information.
Focus on one image or folder, or use Select to choose several items. Press Tag, choose a lens profile and confirm the same target, backup and tagging options used by the sharing workflow.
No additional file manager or image browser is needed. Find your images, inspect their metadata and apply your lens data within AltglasTagr.
Open Start Tagging and browse to your photographs.
Choose the image files or folder you want to process.
Press Tag, review the operation and start.

The tools behind the workflow
More than a lens tag
Manage your images, protect your originals and carry your setup with you.
An image browser with EXIF insight
Browse folders in Details or Previews mode, inspect lens, Artist and Copyright data, and select one or several images for tagging. Adjustable thumbnail rows help you use the available screen space.

A database for your own lenses
Create, edit, copy and organise lens profiles. Store Lens Make, Lens Model, focal lengths, aperture values and an optional serial number, then reuse the same accurate information for future photographs.

Android sharing, built into your workflow
Send selected photographs or supported folder shares straight to AltglasTagr from another app. The shared selection opens the preparation screen, ready for a lens profile and your preferred processing options.

Backups that stay under your control
Enable backups to protect image files before their EXIF data is changed. Decide how existing backups should be handled and whether to tag originals or save tagged copies to another folder. Optional operation logs record what happened.

Save your setup—and share it
Export your settings, lens database, Artist and Copyright data to a backup file and import them again when needed. Share that file with another AltglasTagr user to pass on your lens profiles and configuration.

Make the app speak your language
Export the editable app text, translate the text entries into your chosen language and import the file back into AltglasTagr. Keep the text keys unchanged and translate their values—no programming or rebuilding the app is needed. You can share your translation file with other users.
